By accessing or using the Grand Nest Living website, mobile application, or any of our home renovation, interior design, construction, or maintenance services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services.

2. Description of Services

Grand Nest Living provides a range of home services including but not limited to: full home renovation, interior design, exterior renovation, home décor, bathroom remodeling, kitchen renovation, security installation, fire safety installation, roofing, flooring, lawn installation, smart home solutions, and home warranty plans. All services are subject to availability and a formal service agreement signed by both parties before work commences.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration, quotation requests, and project consultations.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
• Ensure that your property is accessible and safe for our team members at the scheduled service times.
• Remove personal belongings, valuables, and fragile items from the work area before the project begins.
• Comply with all applicable local laws, building codes, and homeowners' association regulations related to your project.

4. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided by Grand Nest Living are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change based on material costs, scope modifications, or unforeseen structural issues discovered during the project. A detailed cost breakdown will be included in your service agreement. Any changes to the original scope of work will be documented through a formal change order and may result in adjusted pricing.

5. Payment Terms

• A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total project cost is required upon signing the service agreement.
• Progress payments will be due at specified milestones as outlined in your service agreement.
• Final payment is due upon project completion and your written approval of the finished work.
• Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
• We accept credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks.

6. Project Timelines

We strive to complete all projects within the estimated timeline provided in your service agreement. However, project timelines are estimates and may be affected by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to: weather conditions, material availability, permit delays, structural surprises, or changes requested by the client. We will notify you promptly of any anticipated delays and adjust the schedule accordingly.

7. Warranty and Guarantee

Grand Nest Living provides a limited warranty on workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of project completion. Material warranties are provided by the respective manufacturers and vary by product. Our warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use and does not cover damage caused by misuse, negligence, natural disasters, or unauthorized modifications. Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to hello@grandnestliving.com within the warranty period.

8. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the scheduled project start date will receive a full refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.
• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund of payments made, minus the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date are non-refundable.
• Grand Nest Living reserves the right to cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a prorated refund based on work completed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grand Nest Living shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from: (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party; (c) any content obtained from our services; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Grand Nest Living and its officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and subcontractors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of and access to our services; (b) your violation of any term of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; or (d) any claim that your actions caused damage to a third party.

All content, features, and functionality of the Grand Nest Living website and services — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software — are the exclusive property of Grand Nest Living or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Sacramento, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish its objectives to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

At Grand Nest Living, we are committed to your complete satisfaction. This Return & Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which you may request a return, refund, or service rework. Since our services involve custom home renovation, design, and installation work, our refund policy differs from standard retail product returns. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.

2. 30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on select services from the date of project completion. If you are not satisfied with the quality of our workmanship within this period, we will return to your property and make the necessary corrections at no additional charge. If corrections cannot resolve the issue to your satisfaction, a partial or full refund may be issued based on the nature and extent of the concern.

3. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund under the following circumstances:

• The completed work does not match the specifications outlined in your signed service agreement.
• Defective workmanship is identified within the warranty period that cannot be rectified through rework.
• We fail to deliver the agreed-upon service within 30 days of the original completion date (excluding delays caused by client-requested changes, weather, or permit issues).
• A mutual agreement is reached between you and Grand Nest Living to cancel the project before work begins.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

• The initial non-refundable deposit (30% of the total project cost).
• Custom-made or special-order materials that have been purchased specifically for your project.
• Services that have been partially or fully completed as per the agreed specifications.
• Damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications after project completion.
• Changes to the project scope requested by the client after work has commenced.

5. Material Returns

For physical products and materials purchased through Grand Nest Living (such as fixtures, tiles, appliances, or décor items):

• Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in resalable condition within 14 days of delivery.
• A return authorization number must be obtained by contacting hello@grandnestliving.com before shipping any items back.
• Custom-ordered, personalized, or made-to-measure items cannot be returned unless they are defective.
• Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was delivered incorrectly or is defective.

6. Refund Process

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

• Submit a written refund request to hello@grandnestliving.com including your project reference number, description of the issue, and supporting photographs or documentation.
• Our customer service team will review your request within 5 business days and may schedule an on-site inspection if needed.
• Once your refund is approved, the amount will be processed within 10–15 business days.
• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.

7. Partial Refunds

In cases where only a portion of the work does not meet the agreed specifications, we will first attempt to rework and correct the issue. If rework is not feasible or does not resolve the concern, a partial refund may be issued proportional to the cost of the unsatisfactory portion of the work. The refund amount will be determined based on the original contract value of the specific scope item in question.

8. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you cancel your project before any work has started and before materials have been ordered:

• Cancellations made 14+ days before the scheduled start date: Full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.
• Cancellations made 7–13 days before the start date: 50% refund of amounts paid minus the deposit.
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date: No refund beyond what is required by applicable law.

9. Service Credits

In lieu of a monetary refund, we may offer service credits that can be applied toward future services with Grand Nest Living. Service credits will be offered at 110% of the approved refund value as an added benefit. Service credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance and are non-transferable.

10. Dispute Resolution for Refund Claims

If you disagree with our refund decision, you may escalate your claim by writing to our management team at hello@grandnestliving.com with "Refund Escalation" in the subject line. A senior manager will review your case within 10 business days. If the dispute remains unresolved, the matter will be handled through the arbitration process outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

11. Consumer Protection Rights

Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the right to reject goods or services that do not conform with the contract. This policy is in addition to, and does not supersede, your statutory rights.
